Yes, as you have already read with others, the boss is sometimes in a bad mood, that's the way it is, the growl. But that doesn't go unnoticed by the guests. No, he doesn't complain to the guests, he is rather rude towards the staff. The guest wants "peace - joy - pancakes" when eating. Other than that, the restaurant is really good. The kitchen is home-style German with Hessian accents. If you look at the ambience, the portions, the taste and the prices in context, you get a great price-performance ratio. I loved the aquarium niche.

We are regulars in this restaurant and were already earlier when the landlords were still in Gensungen. Admittedly, Armin (the landlord) seems a bit grumpy at times, but his heart is in the right place. If you haven't done it yet, you should eat a cabbage roll there in the white cabbage season (only on pre-order!) The thing is sensational and only possible if you've been starving all day beforehand. We hope that Meggie and Armin stay healthy and continue to cook for us for a long time Rosi and Knut

We have just come from the small köötze in Melsungen and, as always, are absolutely thrilled. Regardless of whether schnitzel or steak, I would say I have never felt such a pleasure while eating as in this small, rustic restaurant. The fried potatoes are a mystery to me how you can turn such a banal thing into a feast for the palate. I can only say there is nothing like it that can even come close to competing with this culinary art! Always my pleasure !!! And we have never been treated unfriendly on the contrary !!!! If it were up to us, this restaurant would have deserved stars. Please stay with us for a long time.
